Hidden Powers of Creation How Your Thoughts Shape Your RealityA beautifully written and incredibly engaging book. I was hooked from the first paragraph! The author has done a great job of making the 'woo-woo' new age topics seem more relatable, understandable and credible with an intense focus on scientific research. The additional insight into the author's own personal story and journey was especially intriguing, and provided a meaningful background for the overall topic.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Dr. Chevalier's book because it made me do some serious thinking, especially in relation to science and spirituality. I'm learning that things aren't always what they seem and Chevalier's work has pushed me to think differently, much further outside of the box than I already was. He begins by telling about his interesting, unique and awful childhood and how that played a huge role in eventually becomes a healer, using many different and effective techniques, unknown to many. What I am most drawn to is his healing modality of holigraphic kinetics, and the idea of conscious thought actually affecting our physical world, along with the impact thoughts can have on our health. He brings up some interesting and thought-provoking concepts.
As a mother of a son with extremely violent behavior and other labels like autism, Lyme Disease, epilepsy and probably more I am forgetting, I have searched for years, going on my own journey to get to the very route of his issues. Holigraphic kinetics has finally given me answers where traditional and even non-traditional medicine have not. Chevalier has introduced me to concepts in this book that I believe have literally saved my life.
A wonderful and quick read, but words that will make you think and think about everything you knew to be true.
Lots of great things to wrap your mind around here. References to many modalities that seem worth looking into for the theraputic practitioner.
